Intellectual Property Law Software law

I graduated at the Faculty of Law at Charles University in Prague, and spent a year at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. I have been working in the field of law since 2015.

I have found myself in software law, which I do full time. This area is undergoing rapid development, to which even the Czech legislator often fails to react. Some contract types have been waiting for many years for at least a basic legal framework. This makes it all the more important to set out the rights and obligations directly in agreements, contracts or business and terms and conditions.

The EU, on the other hand, has significantly increased its activity in the field of IT and has come up with extensive rules, prohibitions or limitations, which I will also be happy to help you implement in your day-to-day business.

I'm based at the Prague office and in addition to the online meeting, I'd be happy to meet you in person!

Within the office, I’m mostly focused on:

  • Software and IT law, including EU regulation
  • Drafting contracts related to software development, implementation and maintenance (SLA),
  • Drafting commercial terms and conditions for software services
