Brokerage agreement under Czech law: commission, finders and how it differs from commercial agency
Under a brokerage agreement, the broker undertakes to arrange for the client the
conclusion of a specific contract with a third party, and the client pays the
broker a commission for it. In business practice, the broker is also called a
finder or tipster (zprostředkovatel, tipař), and the contract goes by names
such as commission agreement, finder's fee agreement or introducer agreement.
Depending on how the cooperation is set up, it can be brokerage or commercial
agency. What decides is the content of the contract, not its title.
